ASK, BELIEVE, RECEIVE, HAVE IT...

Ask
What does it mean to ask? It means to place an order or make an order. It is not complaining or murmuring as many of us would think it is. When you pray to God, remember it has to be according to His Word so that your prayer is answered (James 4:3)

Believe
Believing is necessary to receiving. Believe according to the Penguin English Dictionary means to consider something to be true, to accept a statement made by somebody to be true as the truth; and in the case it will be God. When we ask we need to believe immediately not later. Faith plays a key part in believing in God so you must trust in Him totally (Hebrew 11:1). Faith believes when you have no reason to.

Receive
Receiving is to acknowledge receipt. It simply means that you know that you have what you asked for. Receiving is spiritual and does not have time involved in it. God is a spirit and His words are spirit and life. Once we ask and believe, we will definitely receive because God is not a man that He should lie. We may not have it physically but we know that we have received from God.
I can explain receiving with an illustration of a pregnant woman. The moment a lady conceives she has received, it is not time dependent and we don’t know exactly when she conceived, but she knows that has received even though she does not have it physically.

Have it
Having your request met involves time. Just like a pregnant woman, when she delivers the baby that is when she has it physically. Having it is time dependent, just like the pregnant woman it takes 9months for her to have the baby in her arms.
It is what you do with God’s Word that determines your success or failure in life. The word of God produces results and that is a fact not fiction.

Invitation to The official launch of 2 Steps to Receiving from God

It gives me great pleasure and joy to invite you to the official launch of 2 Steps to Receiving from God.

Come and celebrate with me and we lift up the name of Jesus.
Come and hear testimonies from readers of 2 Steps to receiving from God.
Come and be encouraged.
