Finding your life purpose applies to all areas of your life. It is about finding complete fulfillment in money, career, love, family, and home life. It is about knowing what you want from each and every part of your life. When you know, only then can you be sure about who you are and where you are going.

Given below are five tips to assist you in finding your life purpose:

1. The first thing you need to do is to get out a piece of paper and start writing down all of your strong points. Do not focus on your flaws. Make sure that nothing negative gets written down on this piece of paper. Strengths include things like: works well with others, good listener, great friend, good with math, excellent artist, great with computers, great mom, etc.

2. The second step to help aide you in finding your life purpose is to take some time out of your day each day to meditate about all of the things in life that currently make you happy. Focus in on the things that make you smile and feel complete. Think about how you can take your life a step further by expanding on those particular areas. For example, if it is your children that make you feel loved and complete, think about how you can spend more time with them. What can you do to experience this feeling on a larger scale?

3. Think back to your childhood. It may not seem like it contains much significance, but when finding your life purpose, thinking back to where all of your hopes and dreams started can come in handy. You may even be able to remember where you got off track. What was it you always dreamed of being when you grew up? Where did you want to live? What kind of person did you want to be?

4. Getting where you want to be in life requires more than just dreaming. Nothing ever happens to those that do not take action. Think of all of the things that make you really happy in life and go after them. Think of ways to get the things you desire and are passionate about. If it is a new car, think of ways to get the money to do so. If it is a new job, think of something you would love to do, and prepare to get the skills needed to make it a reality.

5. Believe positively about everything. Do not let anything get in the way of achieving your goals. If there are any obstacles that are preventing you from going after what it is you want in this life, then do your best to eliminate and/or work around them. But no matter what, stay optimistic.

However easy, finding your life purpose can also be very confusing at times. That is why it helps to write everything down. Above all else, make sure you have some quiet time each day to think and brainstorm about where it is you are going in life.

Make the necessary changes in order to become who you want to be.
