Today, we witnessed the marriage of Prince Williams and Miss Kate.
How beautiful was that?

The scenery, the crowds, the celebrities, the parade, the fly past and much more, made the Royal wedding stand out.

Over 1 million people came out to show their love and support for the Royal wedding, how cool; with most travelling from other part of the country to attend this special occasion, to those camping overnight at the Buckingham Palace arena despite the weather forecast, to those who arrived at the venue at 5am this morning.

The Prince and his wife are truly loved what can I say.
Did you know that the Sun came out immediately after Kate came out?

I watched the marriage occasion from the comfort of my lovely home and I must say it was one of the most beautiful wedding ceremony I have ever seen.

I will like to wish the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge a Happy Married Life.

Two years ago, I was on the verge of frustration, all my hopes and wants seemed like an impossibility. I was going through a challenging season, it felt like forever. All my worlds came crashing one by one and I was very unhappy and stressed. I remember nights of crying and seeking God for a change, I told Him if He does not help me I am in big trouble because I do not have anyone to call upon to help me.

I asked I believed I received. Now that is the way it should be.

How did it happen, you wonder? I stopped driving to work and started taking the bus to and fro, giving me about four and the half hour travel time to read my bible, listen to Gods' word, read uplifting books and confessing Gods' word into the area of my life I needed help with. Doing this faithfully brought about a change in my situation and my life changed. Now I am full of joy, enjoy peace like a river, and living life at its peak. I am in control and I enjoy each day as it comes. I have grown smarter,wiser,faster and stronger and it is the Lords doing and it is marvelous in our sight.

This experience gave birth to the journey that lead me to write 2 steps to receiving from God.

I will like to use this avenue to say a Big thank you to my friends and family who attended my book launch on Saturday the 16th of April 2011. God bless you real good. I am grateful and blessed to have you in my life.

Special appreciation goes to my husband Olumuyiwa, the love of my life. I could not have completed this project without him. I thank God for giving me His gift,I am most grateful.

My achievement - Be encouraged 2

In the first note, I introduced myself as an author and encouraged everyone to live the dream. In this concluding note I give my secret to achievement.

Here are my steps to achievement.

6 keys in preparing to achieve

1. Know who you are: do not confuse your whereness with your whoness
2. Faith: visit your future by faith. Believe in your own success.
3. Decision: decide to accomplish your dreams and do not let anything come in your way
4. Association: who are around you, the sort of people around you will kill or make you. Evaluate your relationships.
5. Focus: be focussed, have the ability to see where no one can. Run with your dream, have an attitude of I will not give up.
6. Be proactive: achievement does not happen without an action. You cannot sit down and wait for something to happen. Make it happen, start taking steps no matter how small it is.

7 keys to achievements

1. Write the thought/dream/idea down
2. Have a plan: planning is essential in the actualisation of your dream, have deadlines.
3. List your options: the more options, the more power you have in your hands
4. Have a backup plan: failure to anticipate is the root cause of so many dreams dying.
5. Calculate the cost
6. Get the skill: be wise, be knowledgeable in the area of your dream, the more you learn, the more you earn.
7. Measure/review your progress

Success is a matter of preparation

I want to encourage and challenge everybody reading this note that we can achieve what we plan to do when it is done with excellence, discipline and getting the right skill necessary to do the job. For the benefit of those who do not know, I was writing a book, am happy to tell you that my status has changed, do not look for me at my old address, I have moved. I am now an AUTHOR. I have accomplished one of my dreams, it is a reality, 2 steps to receiving from God is officially a book, not a manuscript. It was challenging in terms of time and finances to covert my dream from a manuscript to a book, but it was worth it, I have expanded my skill and increased my network. If I can do it, I have news for you, so can YOU. I am a wife, mother and a career woman, I did it, I wrote my first book, and how did I manage it you ask? The answer is simple, in the words of Dani Johnson (Life coach), I don’t think you can handle the answer; it’s not how it is who His name is JESUS. My friends, be encouraged, what have you thought about doing in this new year, sing, dance, write, join a group, learn a new skill, whatever it is, it is not too late to start moving in the direction of achieving it. Be challenged to take the thought/dreams/ideas a step further. Watch out for the concluding part of this note.
